Harry Groome

Harry Groome is the award-winning author of the novels Wing Walking, Thirty Below, Celebrity Cast, and The Best of Families, which won the IndieReader Discovery Award for popular fiction. He is also the author of the Stieg Larsson parody, The Girl Who Fished with a Worm. His writings have appeared in dozens of magazines and anthologies, including Gray’s Sporting Journal, Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, Descant, Field & Stream, Detroit, and Aethlon: The Journal of Sport Literature. One of his stories was a finalist for the William Faulkner Short Story Awards and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Another won The Authors In The Park Short Fiction Contest, and two have been performed by the Interact Theatre Company in Philadelphia. Harry is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MFA in Writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. He and his wife Lyn divide their time between Villanova, Pennsylvania, and the Adirondack Mountains in New York.
